A-Lodge Adventure Hotel Announces “SUMMER OF ADVENTURE” in the Rockies

Tucked just two miles from downtown Boulder, Colorado in beautiful Fourmile Canyon sits a visionary lodging concept that was created for both the adventure and leisure travelers alike. Introducing the A-Lodge Hotel (Adventure Lodge), an ambitious mountain hideaway and retreat that features campsites, a traveler’s hostel, a reimagined creekside motel, and the perfect concept for travel in Summer 2020: The Adventure Van.

Personalized, Customizable Vacation Experience Provides Adventure and Access to the Great Outdoors

For those wanting to get a bit closer to nature while still enjoying all the amenities of the property, four campsites under the trees and stars await. Add to that, two Mercedes Benz Sprinter Adventure Vans, and the dream of #VanLife is a reality and the possibilities for summer fun and adventure are endless.

Nature is summer 2020’s most sought after vacation amenity, and the A-Lodge now serves up the great outdoors with a good dose of fresh air, fun, and adventure in two locations: Boulder, CO and now in Lyons, CO. Created and curated with the philosophy of providing access, adventure, and amenities, A-Lodge is for both the adventure and leisure seeker alike.

Answering the call for a new type of vacation experience, the A-Lodge brilliantly combines nature with rustic hospitality, and both destinations offer plenty of room to be both socially distant, and socially active.

A-Lodge Boulder

Accommodations at A-Lodge Boulder range from Deluxe Queen rooms and suites to a Sunset Cabin to an Adventure Suite. A-Lodge also provides the only camping site within five minutes of Boulder and features the option of car camping or campsites on raised decks overlooking the A-Lodge. Featuring 27 private cabin rooms and suites with private entry and porches overlooking Boulder Creek, A-Lodge Boulder also created a one-of-a-kind family room that sleeps up to 12 guests.

A-Lodge Lyons

A-Lodge Lyons is small in size but big on adventure. With just six private guest rooms, and a planned beer garden and events area set to open later this year, A-Lodge Lyons provides a boutique hotel experience that has the spirit of the outdoors built into its DNA. With its Lyons locale, guests can explore the “small town with big character” and enjoy the great local dining scene and classic Main Street, as well as experience endless outdoor recreation opportunities.

Whether a guest is looking for climbing, fishing, skiing, cycling, hiking, or taking in the town, the A-Lodge offers instant access to nature, while providing the right amenities to return to after an inspiring day off the beaten path.

Additionally, with their unique size and setting, both A-Lodge properties can be transformed into the ideal corporate retreat or family reunion getaway. With one property set against the backdrop of Boulder Creek and the other at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, these once rustic hideouts are now full-service, re-imagined guest lodges.

A-Lodge Adventure Vans

Mobile, free to roam and jam-packed with everything a traveler needs, the A-Lodge Adventure Vans are the perfect anecdote for travel in the age of social-distancing and restricted access.  Designed to allow its guests to create their own vacation experience in a reconfigured Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van, the Adventure Van is loaded with amenities and can be personalized for the extremely adventurous to the leisure-seeking nomad. After months of home-sheltering and quarantined distance from nature, the Adventure Van is an idea that was ahead of its time, and one that is now a welcome current travel option.

Fully customizable to match a traveler’s needs and passions, the Adventure Van concept features four packages:

  • The Explorer
The Explorer is the perfect camper van for those wanting to try out the #vanlife. Featuring all the basics including an induction stove with pots/pans, mini-fridge, 20-gallon water tank with sink and outdoor shower, a queen size foldable bed, inside heat, and extra storage. Perfect for the outdoor enthusiast looking to travel in style.
  • The Cyclist
The Cyclist features all of the amenities of The Explorer, as well as includes two bike racks that allow for any type of bike to be stored safely inside the van.
  • The Shredder
The Shredder is rigged and ready for the slopes and perfect for the winter enthusiast. It includes a ski-rack that fits up to four skis and one drawer big enough to store extra equipment. Includes a built-in furnace to keep you warm that runs off the van’s diesel fuel.
  • The BYO (Build Your Own)
The BYO allows for travelers to personally design their experience with mix and match configurations to fit any adventure or traveling experience. The Adventure Van is fully customizable and travelers can add almost anything to their own personal adventure trip.  This includes Cassette Toilet, Sleeping Bags and Pads, Camping Tent, Camping Stove, Hammocks, Guidebooks, Solar Shower, Camp Chairs, and yes, even dogs!

The Adventure Van journey begins at the A-Lodge Hotel in Boulder, Co. and each van trip can be paired with a stay at the A-Lodge pre or post road trip. All A-Lodge Adventure Vans are Mercedes Benz Sprinter Vans 2017 models and newer.
