Jade Mountain
Rising majestically above the vast Caribbean Sea lies the stunning, ulta-luxury resort Jade Mountain. Architect and owner Nick Troubetzkoy conceived this incredible property as a unique destination where guests would be exposed to a carefully orchestrated sensory experience.
The bold architectural design makes Jade Mountain a masterpiece and one of the Caribbean’s most mesmerizing resort experiences. The adventurous journey to your private sanctuary suite begins along a suspended sky bridge, seemingly extending to infinity, which is yours and yours alone.
The location of the property is unsurpassed. Set high above the private estate of Anse Chastanet and surrounded by 600 lush tropical acres, it is bordered by two Caribbean beaches with sand as soft as flour and pristine coral reefs just offshore.
The door to your sanctuary is an oversized rough-hewn slab of exotic tropical hardwood that opens into a magical surrounding. With the fourth wall entirely absent, Jade Mountain’s sanctuaries are stage-like settings from which to embrace the full glory of St. Lucia’s Pitons World Heritage Site and, of course, the sparkle of the Caribbean Sea.
Expect grand sweeping spaces where bedroom, living area and an extravagant private infinity pool (surfaced entirely in one-of-a-kind glass tiles) glide into one another to form an extraordinary design element. The infinity pools in each sanctuary offer a one of a kind visual element, water flowing over a vanishing edge serves to draw the view into the room, linking the view with water, and water with sky and land, sun and stars.
This complex creative act was accomplished using the palette of indigenous materials that Saint Lucia offers.
Wrapped around an infinity pool with a dazzling kaleidoscope of colors is the Jade Mountain Club offering a unique fine dining experience created by James Beard award winner, Chef Allen Susser. The exotic menu is infused with bold tropical flavors and local products that nourishes both body and soul. Seemingly hovering above the Club is the Celestial Terrace, perfect for sunset cocktails or star gazing.
An eclectic collection of locally made, sustainably harvested tropical furniture decorate the sanctuaries, giving each one their own individualistic ambiance. The glass tiles in the infinity pool feature an iridescent surface on one side and a smooth but undulating surface on the other, creating a unique prism of reflective light. A true masterpiece!
