The Wallace Hotel – NYC

US – NEW YORK – MANHATTAN

As sounds of the bustling city beyond the windows fill my ears, I look around my spacious room at The Wallace Hotel in New York City. Located on the Upper West side just three blocks from the infamous Central Park, The Wallace is a place known for its sophistication and elegance.

I’m greeted with friendly faces as I walk in the door, and everywhere I turn there is someone willing to help me find my way. As I experience all they have to offer, I understand just why it’s considered a luxury hotel.

Spacious Suites in the City

Taking in the soft neutral colors, my room makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. They offer many different options for rooms ranging from rooms with one queen bed to executive apartment style suites. Each room comes with complimentary high speed WIFI.

My suite offers amenities such as a Nespresso machine, a bath robe and slippers, and a wet bar. The bathroom is even lavish, complete with bright lighting and a big standing shower. The hotel is also a pet friendly place. I am definitely bringing my furry friend back with me next time.

The Wallace Lounge

Entering the sleek and modern atmosphere, this is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a cocktail and snack. I got a refreshing martini and charcuterie board filled will prosciutto, finocchiona and cheese. The perfect after dinner mix.

You’ll also find various wines and other cocktails. I want to try the UWS sparks next time. It consists of St. Germain, yellow grapefruit, bitters, and champagne. I’m also a big wine person and appreciate how many options they offer for bottles and glasses.

Food Isn’t Secondary

If I was looking for a more filling meal, I would try their wagyu sliders or smoked beef tartar. I can imagine the burst of flavor that would explode on my tongue. The desserts like the pistachio cheesecake look delicious and very flavorful as well.

The lounge is inclusive and offers kosher wine and food options for those who follow a kosher diet.  So, just ask the server about their selection.

Events

With over 1,100 square feet of room, the Wallace offers the space to host family, friends, or colleagues for an event. The spacious rooms are freshly renovated and include projectors, a separate check in area and amazing catering options. This is the perfect place to host a wedding reception, birthday bash, anniversary party, or work gatherings.

For more intimate gatherings, the lounge is the ideal room to rent out. They will even put together a custom drink and small plates menu for each event.

Special Offers

Unlike other places, the Wallace has many special offers for its guests. They offer 10% off the total for AAA members staying with them. They also offer 10% off for military guests, veterans, first responders, AARP members and senior citizens. For an additional 15% off, guests need to book 21 days before their stay.

Just walking around the Wallace, I feel a sense of warmth but also lavishness. I could not have felt more content during my stay and hope to be back soon.
